Vigor, Veracity and Valor are the values that center me, inspire me and motivate me to learn and grow.

I am an experienced school leader with a demonstrated history of working in the realm of public education reform and school choice. I am skilled in organizational dynamics and the professional development of teachers and leaders through coaching, team building, curriculum development, and program development. I am particularly fascinated with helping schools to develop effective strategies to educate the whole child and all of their parts- physical, intellectual, social and emotional. I am a strong organizational development professional with a Sixth Year in Educational Leadership focused in Educational Leadership and Administration and a professional certificate focused in Executive Leadership both from the University of Connecticut.

My family is my center and my inspiration. My wife Tami is the most amazing educator I know. And she also happens to teach both of my children! My daughter Gwyneth and my son Benjamin currently attend St. Joseph School. Ben is entering 7 th grade and Gwyneth will be attending St. Bernard High School next year. I enjoy being outdoors with my family- boating, playing sports, biking, camping and hiking.

Patient, person-centered, and positive best describe my approach to teaching and learning.

With fifteen years of experience in public education, I am grateful for the time spent teaching high school Social Studies, founding a magnet school, building a high school library program, and mentoring new teachers. I seek to emulate the loving, nonjudgemental space of the Integral Schoolhouse in my current work supporting high school students with their early-college experience and post-secondary planning. I also integrate the work of Pat and Eileen Howley in my mentoring of university pre-service teachers during their student-teaching field experiences.

I am eager to build partnerships and differentiate learning to make personal development inclusive and achievable. My current educational endeavor is in the holistic study of social, emotional, and academic Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University. I live in Branford, CT where I spend time active and outdoors, laughing with friends and family, and attending live performances.
